Day 03: Visit the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, a Hindu shrine to the goddess Kali that is situated on the Hooghly River’s banks. Discover Kolkata’s New Market, a vibrant and active shopping district and drop to your hotel.

5.30 Am: Start early in the morning to beat traffic and arrive at Gangasagar before the crowds when leaving Kolkata.
Arrive in Kakdwip at 9:00 AM; this is the town closest to Gangasagar from where a ferry can take you to the island.
Take the Ferry: From Kakdwip to Gangasagar, board a ferry. Depending on the weather, the ferry voyage lasts between 30 and 45 minutes.
Visit Kapil Muni Ashram: On the island, there is a well-known temple called Kapil Muni Ashram.
