Tour Itinerary

Day 1 & Day 2: Train Journey

Begin your journey from Kolkata (Howrah/Sealdah) by train towards Jammu.

Day 3: Arrival in Jammu – Transfer to Srinagar (7 Hours)

Upon arrival at Jammu railway station, meet your driver and start your road journey to Srinagar (approx. 7 hours).

Check in to the hotel in Srinagar and spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the serene beauty of the city.

Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a Srinagar city tour, covering:

Mughal Gardens (Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi)

Shankaracharya Temple (a famous Hindu temple with panoramic city views)

Hazratbal Mosque (a revered Muslim shrine on Dal Lake’s banks)

Optional: Enjoy a Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake (at your own cost).

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 5: Full-Day Excursion to Gulmarg

Early breakfast and depart for Gulmarg (approx. 2 hours from Srinagar).

Enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Meadow of Flowers.

Optional activities in Gulmarg (at your own cost):

Gondola ride (Asia’s highest cable car) up to Apharwat Peak.

Pony ride to explore scenic spots. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Full-Day Excursion to Sonmarg & Kheer Bhawani Temple

After early breakfast, drive to Sonmarg (approx. 2.5–3 hours).

Enjoy the scenic beauty of the “Meadow of Gold”, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

Optional Thajiwas Glacier trek or pony ride (at your own cost).

While returning, visit the Kheer Bhawani Temple, a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Ragnya Devi. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Pahalgam (4 Hours) – Leisure Day

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, also known as the “Valley of Shepherds” (approx. 4 hours).

Check-in at the hotel and relax in the scenic beauty of Pahalgam.

The rest of the day is free for leisure activities or a peaceful walk along Lidder River.

Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 8: Pahalgam Local Sightseeing (own cost)

After breakfast, explore the beautiful spots in Pahalgam:

Betab Valley – Famous for its lush greenery and Bollywood connections.

Aru Valley – Known for its breathtaking landscapes and adventure activities.

Chandanwari – The base camp for the Amarnath Yatra.

Note: Local sightseeing in Pahalgam requires a private vehicle at an additional cost.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 9: Transfer to Katra (7 Hours) – Vaishno Devi Darshan

After breakfast, check out and drive to Katra (approx. 7 hours).

Check in to the hotel and relax.

In the evening, visit the famous Vaishno Devi Temple (at your own cost). You can reach the temple by foot, palki, pony, or helicopter (as per your preference). Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 10: Relaxation in Katra

After the strenuous temple visit, take the day to rest and explore Katra at leisure.

Optional: Explore local markets for souvenirs. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 11 & Day 12: Train Journey from Jammu

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Jammu railway station for the return train journey to Kolkata.

Day 13: Arrival in Kolkata (Howrah/Sealdah)

Reach Howrah/Sealdah Railway Station, marking the end of a memorable trip to Jammu & Kashmir.

 

Important Notes:

Program Changes: The itinerary is subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances.

Entry Fees: All entry fees are to be paid by the travelers as extra charges.

Seat Allocation: Seats on the bus will be allocated on a rotational basis; no special seat requests can be accommodated.

Road Travel: Overland journeys will be conducted in a 2×1 seat Tempo Traveller vehicle.

Railway Journey: Meals, tea, and water will not be provided during train journeys.

Hotel Accommodation: Travelers may not all be accommodated in the same hotel. Some guests may stay in nearby hotels of a similar standard.

No Smoking/Plastic-Free Zone: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas, and all locations are plastic-free zones.

Hotel Room Arrangements: Triple-bed rooms are not available; additional floor mattresses will be provided for extra guests if necessary.

Luggage: Please bring minimal luggage. Avoid carrying unnecessary items and ensure suitcases do not exceed 22 inches in length.

Identification: A valid ID card must be presented at all required locations.

Liability: The company is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the journey and will not offer compensation for lost items.

Cooperation: Travelers are requested to cooperate with the tour manager and staff throughout the trip.

Personal Luggage Responsibilit: During train journeys, travelers should take extra care of their luggage.

Optional Activities: Visits to Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandan Bari are optional and at the travelers’ own cost. Charges for additional activities such as ropeway tickets, Shikara rides, and pony rides must also be covered by travelers.
